A powerful Republican senator called for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the scandal surrounding the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups for extra scrutiny. “I think it’s too soon. I don’t think there’s enough evidence to warrant a special prosecutor,” said Baucus, who is leading an investigation into the IRS’ conduct as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. ~The Daily Caller – 27 May 2013

President Obama and Co. are in full deniability mode, noting that the IRS is an “independent” agency and that they knew nothing about its abuse. The media and Congress are sleuthing for some hint that Mr. Obama picked up the phone and sicced the tax dogs on his enemies. ~WSJ

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Sunday said the IRS scandal is threatening President Obama’s ability to lead the country. Paul, appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” said that the IRS and other recent controversies “really takes away from the president’s moral authority to lead the nation.” ~The Hill

How deep does the this scandal go? The IRS singled out groups and individuals who wanted to ‘make America a better place’. Now it would appear the IRS has been singled out for this gross misuse of power but, what else do revenue offices have lingering in their closet of skeletons?

On January 6, 2005 an article was printed ondrugfree.org under the term join together. Under a new law that took effect Jan. 1 inTennessee, drug dealers will be required to pay excise taxes on illegal substances, including marijuana, cocaine, moonshine, and unlawfully obtained prescription painkillers, the Elizabethton Star reported Jan. 2.

The Tennessee law reportedly was modeled after a 14-year-old law in North Carolina, under which the state had collected $83 million since its inception at that time. At least 22 other states tax illegal drugs and according to the Tennessee Department of Revenue, a 10-person tax agency was created to collect the tax from drug dealers who go to any of the state revenue offices within 48 hours of coming into possession of illegal drugs. When the dealers pay the tax, they receive a stamp to show the tax has been paid. The dealer is not required to provide any identifying information. In addition, it is said that state tax collectors were prohibited by privacy laws from reporting drug dealers to police. This ‘stamp of approval’ appears to put them in a light of violating title 18 section 3 of the United States Code.

Monies collected from the tax will go to the law-enforcement agency making the drug bust, as well as the state’s general fund.

What is wrong with this picture? Bribery is an act of giving money or gift giving that alters the behavior of the recipient. Bribery constitutes a crime and is defined by Black’s Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty. As noted above the tax monies go to local government and law enforcement agencies while no one reports the illegal activities.

Title 18 USC § 3 states: an accessory after the fact is whoever, knowing that an offense against the United States has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact.

It appears in Linden Tennessee Mandy C. Deprato and Sonya Deprato have used Tennessee state assistance to purchase drugs from a local drug dealer. If that local drug dealer pays taxes on those drugs then federal funds dispersed for application to citizens can then be used for application to the state and law enforcement agencies.

Despite Mandy C. Deprato testifying under oath to her drug use and the use of state funds to buy those drugs, Linden Sheriffs have turned their heads to look away upon her abducting 2 children, and have left those 2 children alone with known drug users. The Tennessee Governor has yet to respond for comments and the local sheriff department deputy refused to enforce a child return court order.

It would appear in Linden Tennessee it is perfectly legal to defraud the government for funding, do illegal drugs, distribute illegal drugs, abduct children, harbor abducted children and participate in acts under color of law as long as you pay your taxes.

Our question is, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, just what is going on in Linden Tennessee and do you approve of these actions?
